1. Who is responsible (data controller)

YUESHAN supplies PCB drilling consumables worldwide. For personal data submitted through this website, the controller is YUESHAN (contact: Mr. Lucky Xu, henan_xu@hotmail.com). If you have questions about this policy, email us or use the contact form.

2. What data we collect

• Inquiry form: name, company, email, product interest and any message you type. This is data you voluntarily provide.
• Email & WhatsApp: if you contact us directly, we process the contact details and content you send.
• Server & access logs: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and timestamps, used for security and operational diagnostics.
• Cookies: see Section 7. We currently use only strictly-necessary cookies unless you consent to analytics.

3. Why we collect it (legal basis)

• To respond to your inquiry and prepare a quote / samples — necessary steps at your request before entering a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• To improve the site and prevent abuse — our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Marketing emails you explicitly opt into — your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

4. International data transfers

We are hosted in the EU (Frankfurt). However, some channels you choose involve processors outside the EU:

• WhatsApp: if you click a WhatsApp link, your communication is processed by Meta Platforms (US). This is a transfer to a country outside the EEA; Meta relies on its own safeguards. By choosing WhatsApp you acknowledge this transfer.
• Email: standard email may route through servers outside the EU depending on the provider.
• We do not sell your data. Inquiry data is used only to serve your request and, where you consent, for follow-up.

5. How we use your data

To reply to quotes/sample requests, recommend a product grade, send technical documents (TDS/MSDS), and — only with consent — occasional relevant product updates. We keep inquiries in our EU-region business inbox.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to processing, plus the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email henan_xu@hotmail.com with the subject "Data request". We respond within one month.

7. Cookies & consent

We set a strictly-necessary cookie to remember your cookie choice. If we later enable analytics, those cookies load only after you click "Accept" in the banner. You can change your choice any time by clearing site data in your browser.

8. Data retention

Inquiry records are kept for the duration of the customer relationship plus a reasonable follow-up window, then deleted or anonymized. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security.

We may update this page as our practices or the law change. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version.
